The Story of Hlib Lytiuk
I am desperately asking you to hear my cry for help right now... My heart is just breaking into pieces, and my soul aches with sorrow...
My son Hlib has been fighting for his right to live since the moment he was born. After four years of struggle, I know for sure β there is no scarier place in the world than the walls of a children's oncology ward. Cancer is the most terrifying word that has invaded our lives and is destroying everything in its path. It has taken away my son's happy and carefree childhood, his joy, his smile, and his health.
In his short life, little Hlib has undergone 32 courses of the most toxic chemotherapy, 28 courses of radiation therapy, and received countless pills, IVs, and medications. And all he dreams of is for the disease to go away, to play on a playground, and to return home. But itβs the disease that keeps coming back, and we remain within the hospital walls.
I know there is a war in our country, and every family is going through its own pain and loss. But who, if not me, will fight for my son's life? Who will fall to their knees before the whole world and pray for help? Only me!
We have a chance to defeat cancer once and for all, and the doctors are giving us good prospects. But it all comes down to unreal amounts of money, and unfortunately, itβs money that could buy my child's life.
I am begging you for help! Please hear us and help us! Because, sadly, we may not have another chance." πππ
